 Northern Michigan University, USA is offering a number of scholarships to both domestic and international students. International Academic Award is the scholarship program for international students who are interested to pursue a bachelor’s degree at Northern Michigan University.

Scholarship Value

The International Academic Award covers up to $2,200 per year with an unlimited number of awards.

Eligibility

  • undergraduate international students who have not earned a bachelor's degree already enrolled at Northern Michigan University as a full-time associate or baccalaureate degree student.
  • Award recipients are expected to engage in cultural sharing or community service activities.
  • the candidates should have a GPA of more than 3.0.
  • Candidates must demonstrate academic excellence.
  • Students Who are already enrolled in the English Language Institute cannot avail of this opportunity.

Renewal of scholarship

  • candidate May receive scholarships for up to 8 semesters or 6 semesters for transfer students or until completion of first bachelor's degree, whichever comes first,
  • candidate Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0  or above.
  • Must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy requirements.

Northern Michigan University (NMU) is a public university in Marquette, Michigan. The university was established in 1899. With an enrollment of about 8,000 undergraduate and graduate students, Northern Michigan University is the Upper Peninsula’s largest university.
