Applications are open for scholarships at University of Sheffield UK in different fields of study. International postgraduate scholarship program is offering 125 international postgraduate taught merit scholarships. University is providing the scholarships for a Masters's degree in the courses available at the University. the scholarship will be awarded to those students who will demonstrate excellence in their previous highest degrees and all the students applying for the scholarship must demonstrate strong commitment. Scholarships at the University of Sheffield UK is only available to international students.

  • The students applying for the scholarship must be enrolled in a full-time postgraduate course at the University of Sheffield UK 
  • Applicants should demonstrate a strong commitment and academic excellence.
  • All the progression requirements and program-specific criteria must be met by the students.
  • The scholarship will be awarded to the students on the basis of previous academic excellence. 
  • The candidates must not be sponsored, students.
  • All Crossways courses and Erasmus Mundus courses are ineligible for a merit scholarship
  • You must receive an offer for a course studied in full at University of Sheffield. Masters programs split between the University of Sheffield and a partner institution are not eligible to apply for a scholarship.
  • Anyone studying a Masters/integrated Ph.D. program is eligible for a merit scholarship in the Masters' element of the program only.

Scholarship Value

Each scholarship is a competitive award worth 25% of the original tuition fee for a postgraduate taught program starting in September 2020. The scholarships are available to all new international (non-EU) students who meet the eligibility criteria. Applicants must hold an offer to study at the University of Sheffield before you apply for this scholarship

 Award Criteria

candidates must commence their program at the University of Sheffield in September 2020, furthermore, The scholarship cannot be awarded in conjunction with any funding from an external sponsor**, excluding a loan, which has to be paid back in full. If you are studying a 2 year Masters program the scholarship will be available in the second year of your studies subject to successful completion of year 1, and all remaining eligibility and award criteria.
